About Dr. Susie Chung
Dr. Susie Chung was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She has spent much of her life in pursuit of education, medical training, and a deep passion for helping others. She earned her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College before going to dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. After two years in dental school, she shifted her focus to medicine. She attended Emory University School of Medicine, followed by OB/GYN residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Chung has been in private OB/GYN practice in Towson, Maryland, since 2002, and retired from delivering babies in 2020 and from specialized gynecologic surgery in 2024.​

Dr. Chung's Personal Experience with Hormone Replacement Therapy
In 2020, Dr. Chung personally experienced the challenges of perimenopausal symptoms, including fatigue, hot flashes, mood swings, and poor sleep. After finding relief through testosterone pellet therapy, she became passionate about using this treatment to help others facing similar struggles. Since transitioning to specialized menopausal medicine in 2024, she has successfully treated thousands of patients, improving their quality of life and supporting them in becoming their best selves. Dr. Chung is now based in Charlottesville, Virginia and her practice, ReVAya Well, focuses on hormone therapies, including testosterone, thyroid management, and GLP medications, to help individuals achieve optimal health, vitality, and longevity. She is deeply committed to empowering her patients to thrive during their menopausal transition and beyond.

I named my practice ReVAya Well because the name reflects the transformative impact I’ve seen in my patients, particularly through the BioTE method, both in Baltimore and now in Charlottesville. The word Revaya is Hebrew for "path to renewal," which perfectly captures the essence of what my patients experience—many describe it as a "game changer" or say, "I have my spark back" or "I feel like my younger self." The BioTE method, through the use of testosterone, thyroid, and GLP therapies, has helped my patients regain their energy, restore their vitality, and improve their relationships.
In choosing ReVAya Well, I wanted a name that symbolizes a place of renewal—a fresh start to reclaim health and well-being. The word "Well" signifies a source of replenishment, where patients come not just for hormone optimization, but for a holistic approach to feeling and being their best selves. My dream is for ReVAya Well to become more than just a clinic—it’s a space for growth, transformation, and support, offering not only medical treatments but also physical, emotional, and spiritual resources to help people live at their fullest potential.
